Biography
Bellissima is a Royal Northern College of Music-trained violinist and pianist whose versatility sets her apart. After studying both violin and piano at the RNCM, she went on to perform with prestigious orchestras and ensembles including the Hallé and the BBC Philharmonic.
She spent ten years as a member of the internationally acclaimed Swing Commanders, touring throughout Europe and the USA as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and dancer. As a soloist she has recorded with artists including Richard Hawley and Alex Jones, and has performed classically in front of Prince Charles and the Queen.
Bellissima performs regularly for weddings and corporate functions as a soloist and as part of a string quartet, trio or duo. Her repertoire is exceptionally broad – from classical and Baroque favourites to folk, jazz, swing, pop and world music – and she will happily take requests and learn special pieces for your day.
