Biography
Belle is a dedicated professional violinist from the enchanting landscapes of mid Wales, joining modern melodies with an elegant, classical sound. She began playing at the age of seven and went on to achieve Distinctions at Grade 8, before completing her further musical education with a Triple Distinction.
That training has opened the door to some wonderful opportunities. Belle is an experienced recording musician, laying down violin for albums including releases by Gabrielle Aplin and Neev’s 2023 debut Katherine, which featured on BBC’s Waterloo Road. On stage she has performed in exquisite venues including Hereford Cathedral, Clearwell Castle and Brinsop Court, playing for countless weddings, private parties and graduation ceremonies.
Belle is also an accomplished harpist, which makes her a wonderfully flexible choice for a wedding day. Many couples book her to play violin for the aisle and the ceremony – where a single violin line is at its most emotive – and then move to harp for the drinks reception or wedding breakfast, giving two completely different, equally beautiful moods from one musician. If you would prefer violin throughout, that is absolutely no problem at all.
What couples mention most often is how easy she is to work with. Belle is a brilliant communicator who understands that every couple has their own vision and their own must-have songs.
